Experienced Linux or NOC technician with a strong interest in handling major incidents wanted for a dynamic international environment at Schibsted. The role involves operational IT crisis management, advanced IT systems monitoring, and support work in shifts.
Main requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in IT or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of Linux
  • Good knowledge of Mac OS, smartphones, networking, and PC systems
  • Experience or insight into Major Incident processes
  • Understanding of Active Directory/account management, VMware, cloud server or container operation
  • Very good Swedish and English skills, both spoken and written
  • Swedish citizenship and ability to undergo security clearance according to security protection law (2018:585)
Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor IT systems for internal customers in Sweden and globally
  • Lead initial phase of operational IT crisis management
  • Manage smaller projects for the NOC
  • Receive or improve documentation and specify requirements to internal system owners
  • Act as 2nd line support for escalated issues from the service desk
  • Work varied shifts including days, evenings, and nights on a 7-on/7-off rotation
