IT Support Technician

Provide IT support to users during refinery shutdown periods, focusing on Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and hardware support including PCs, printers, and telephony. Participate and lead coordination activities related to IT in the refinery shutdown area, ensuring smooth IT operations as part of a three-person team.
Main requirements:
  • Experience as an IT technician supporting users in Windows/Active Directory environments
  • Ability to assist users with IT issues related to the refinery shutdown
  • Proficiency in user support for Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365
  • Good English language skills
  • Basic networking knowledge including TCP/IP
  • Possession of a B driving license
Responsibilities:
  • Support users working during the refinery shutdown with IT-related issues
  • Handle Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, PC installations, and support for PCs, printers, and telephony
  • Perform general tasks such as receiving vendors and relocating IT equipment on site
  • Coordinate IT activities within the shutdown coordination area according to approved procedures
  • Lead and convene coordination and related meetings
  • Develop routines related to the IT coordination area
  • Participate in investigations of deviations related to IT when necessary
  • Participate in post-shutdown evaluations and identify improvement areas
