Senior PHP System Developer

Work closely with in-house projects at a smaller company, contributing to a reliable service relied upon daily by our customers and theirs. SAVEA offers a complete payment and booking system for bus, boat, and train travel, and is expanding into the event sector including restaurants, hotels, and theaters.
Main requirements:
  • Strong knowledge and interest in PHP 8 and MySQL/Postgres
  • Domain-driven design and hexagonal architecture or similar
  • Information security
  • Automated testing and Continuous Integration (CI)
  • Proficient in Swedish and English, spoken and written
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and enhance existing codebases
  • Deploy to production environments
  • Integrate various payment services
  • Implement APIs for communication with industry partners
  • Design internal and public APIs
  • Handle occasional technical support issues
  • Optimize database queries
  • Build connections to banks for reconciliation
  • Implement new discount types and logic for seat/passenger category restrictions
  • Develop algorithms for travel searches including transfers
