Incident Handling and Security Monitoring

Responsible for monitoring and analyzing security and operational incidents within the Swedish Armed Forces' IT environment. Coordinate incident response efforts to restore services quickly and minimize impact, lead major incident handling, manage problem cases to identify root causes, ensure compliance with reporting and management of IT security incidents, and oversee operational and security monitoring of systems.
Main requirements:
  • 3-year education in IT or equivalent technical knowledge
  • Some knowledge and competence in Windows and/or Linux operating systems
  • Basic knowledge in IT security and vulnerabilities
  • Good ability to speak, read and write Swedish and English
  • Valid B driver's license
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze security and operational incidents
  • Coordinate resources to restore services promptly in the IT operations environment
  • Lead and manage master incident handling
  • Disseminate information and report to minimize business impact
  • Manage problem cases to identify underlying causes of incidents
  • Work proactively to prevent similar incidents
  • Ensure compliance with IT security incident reporting and handling regulations
  • Oversee operational and security monitoring of various systems
Required hard skills:
  • Knowledge in Windows and/or Linux operating systems
  • Knowledge in IT security and vulnerability management
  • Incident and problem management
  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, switching/routing, and wifi
  • Ability to use issue tracking systems
Recommended hard skills:
