Lead development and adaptation of Android applications for next-generation infotainment systems, ensuring integration with updated display formats and aligning with company software platform strategy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions, improve development practices, and communicate effectively across the organization.
Main requirements:
- Proven experience in Android application development with strong understanding of modern architecture patterns
- Master’s degree in Software Engineering or equivalent experience
- At least 6 years of experience in software development with Java and/or Kotlin
- Hands-on experience in Linux development environment
- Proficiency in automated unit and integration testing in Java/Kotlin
- Experience with version control and CI tools such as Git, Gerrit, and Jenkins
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Collaborative, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute adaptation of three Android applications (Charging, Car Status, Drive Settings) for next-generation infotainment systems
- Ensure seamless integration with updated screen sizes, resolutions, and orientation formats
- Align development with company’s unified software platform strategy and design specifications
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-quality software solutions
- Contribute to continuous improvement in development practices, automation, and code quality
- Effectively communicate and support broader organization in software-related matters
