We at Centric are specialists in IT and infrastructure, working with support, operations, and networking. We are looking for knowledgeable network technicians with Cisco skills, from junior to senior level, for assignments with our customers in the Stockholm area. This role involves problem-solving, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance primarily within Cisco networks, including DNS/DHCP, VPN solutions, and Cisco firewalls.
Main requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in Cisco networking
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
- Experience with DNS/DHCP
- Knowledge of VPN tunnels and VPN clients
- Experience with WAN
- Experience configuring routers, switches, and ports
- Post-secondary education in networking or other relevant education
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot network-related problems of various types and complexity
- Work closely with customers on configurations or in server rooms depending on experience
- Work generally with network distribution environments
- Perform troubleshooting, setup, and management tasks within the network domain
- Work with DNS/DHCP and VPN solutions
- Handle firewall tasks including troubleshooting, updating, and setup, specifically Cisco firewalls
- Respond promptly in critical situations such as network outages, including NOC technician duties like answering incoming alarms and isolating problems
