As a Requirements Analyst at Sopra Steria, you act as the crucial link between business operations and development teams. You capture, analyze, and transform needs into clear requirements that drive progress, working closely with users, developers, and testers to create value, reduce risks, and ensure quality in digital solutions across sectors such as energy, health, telecom, and public services.
Main requirements:
  • Relevant university education in IT, computer science or similar
  • At least five years of experience as a requirements analyst, business analyst or similar role
  • Proficient in documenting functional and non-functional requirements
  • Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria, preferably using BDD (Given–When–Then)
  • Technical understanding of architecture, APIs and system flows without needing to code
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Responsibilities:
  • Capture and analyze business needs and translate them into clear requirements
  • Work closely with users, developers, and testers to ensure delivered solutions create value and meet quality standards
  • Create user stories and acceptance criteria to guide development and testing
  • Help reduce risks by clarifying requirements and ensuring nothing is overlooked
Required hard skills:
  • Requirements documentation (functional and non-functional)
  • Writing user stories and acceptance criteria (BDD experience preferred)
  • Understanding of system architecture, APIs, and workflows
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience as IT consultant
