Functional Solution Architect in Dynamics 365 & Retail

A role focused on leveraging retail experience combined with consulting skills to drive digital transformation for retail clients using Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management.
Main requirements:
  • Strong background in retail, ideally with roles in purchasing, logistics, IT product ownership, or process leadership.
  • Experience working hands-on with POS systems and e-commerce platforms and their integration with ERP systems.
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear solution design and requirements.
  • Experience leading or participating in implementation projects, preferably within Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management.
  • Familiarity working closely with business operations on process development and system implementation.
  • Deep understanding of omni-channel sales impact on systems and workflows.
Responsibilities:
  • Advise customers on business processes, system solutions, and sales strategies in the retail sector.
  • Develop solution proposals, design and document processes and workflows.
  • Ensure solutions deliver real business value.
  • Serve as a liaison between the customer's business operations and technical teams.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, developers, project managers, and business stakeholders.
  • Actively participate in presales and early requirements gathering.
  • Influence how solutions are designed and implemented in both Swedish and international contexts.
Required hard skills:
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management implementations.
  • Knowledge of retail business processes including procurement, logistics, POS, e-commerce platforms, and ERP integration.
  • Ability to perform solution design and requirement specification.
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Commerce or Dynamics 365 POS.
  • Experience in international rollouts or large transformation projects.
  • Previous roles as a superuser or project manager in ERP implementations.
