System Developer for Future Aircraft Gripen

Join Saab AB as a System Developer working on the Gripen C/D fighter aircraft to develop new features and gain broad understanding of complex systems. Collaborate in a team environment focusing on continuous expertise development and participation throughout the entire development chain from requirements to verification.
Main requirements:
  • University or Master of Science degree in system development, computer engineering or equivalent
  • At least 3 years experience in system development
  • Good proficiency in Swedish and English
Responsibilities:
  • Develop new functionalities for the Gripen C/D fighter aircraft in a small team
  • Work with multiple interfaces to different parts of the aircraft providing comprehensive understanding of complex systems
  • Participate in the full development chain: requirement definition, modeling, design, verification in flight simulators
  • Continuously develop expertise through education and knowledge transfer from experienced colleagues
  • Contribute ideas to improve technology and working methods
  • Adhere to current security regulations including security clearance requirements, possible citizenship requirements
Required hard skills:
  • System development experience
  • Knowledge of software development processes including requirement analysis, modeling, design, and verification
  • Proficient in Swedish and English communication
Recommended hard skills:
  • Previous Saab experience is a merit
