Strategic Test Leader & Coordinator

We are seeking a senior test leader with extensive experience to take on a key role combining operational responsibility with strategic leadership in a security-classified and socially important IT environment in Enköping. The role includes leading test efforts in projects, coordinating test and maintenance environments, developing test methods and environments, managing personnel, and ensuring quality and efficiency within the test function.
Main requirements:
  • At least 12 years of test leadership experience, including at least 6 years in large organizations with geographically distributed operations.
  • Minimum 2 years test leadership experience in IT infrastructure projects.
  • Minimum 2 years test leadership experience in application development projects.
  • At least 3 years experience planning and following up testing activities and test environments, including budget responsibility.
  • At least 3 years experience leading at least two people in a central test function managing three or more parallel projects.
  • At least 1 year experience leading verification, validation, acceptance testing, performance testing, and security testing.
  • ISTQB Advanced and/or ISEB Practitioner Level certification.
  • At least 5 years experience using HP ALM (version 11.x minimum, including 1 year with version 12.x).
  • At least 2 years experience with Azure DevOps Server or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years experience developing or maintaining a test center concept.
  • At least 14 months experience in business or method development within testing.
  • At least 2 years experience as a software developer or programmer.
  • Proven strong communication and social skills.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to pass security clearance as the work involves a security-classified environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead testing efforts in projects while managing and coordinating a test function.
  • Plan, coordinate, and follow up on test activities and test environments.
  • Drive long-term development of test methods and test environments.
  • Manage personnel resources within the test function.
  • Ensure quality, efficiency, and governance of test operations.
  • Combine operational test leadership (planning, execution, reporting) with strategic tasks (budgeting, capacity planning, development of test center concepts).
