Join Baronit AB as a Senior Software/DevOps Engineer working full time to shape the future of technology. The role involves delivering scalable and reliable solutions through collaboration with cross-functional teams, leveraging cloud platforms and DevOps practices.
Main requirements:
- Academic degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps and/or Software Engineering roles
- Proven expertise in CI/CD automation using Jenkins, Git, GitOps, GitHub, GitLab, and Gerrit
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform
- Proficiency in Python and Bash/Shell scripting
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Deep understanding of monitoring and observability using Grafana, Prometheus, and ElasticStack
- Solid background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform
- Knowledge of backend development using Java, JavaScript, and Spring Boot framework
- Experience with database technologies including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis
- Expertise in security aspects, especially in CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies in fast-paced, collaborative environments
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills focusing on continuous improvement and innovation
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions aligned with client goals
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using various automation tools
- Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS
- Develop containerized applications and orchestrate them using Docker and Kubernetes
- Implement monitoring and observability strategies using Grafana, Prometheus, and ElasticStack
- Develop backend components using Java, JavaScript, and Spring Boot
- Ensure security best practices during deployment and in CI/CD pipelines
- Apply Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform
- Work within Agile/Scrum frameworks to ensure efficient project delivery
- Continuously improve processes and contribute to innovation within the team
