Professional Galaxy AB is seeking an Expert IT Analyst with advanced data analysis skills and experience, proficient in SQL, with knowledge of SAS/Python as a plus. The role involves working with large datasets, translating business requirements into solution designs, supporting various testing phases, and acting as a bridge between business and IT teams. Excellent communication skills and agile teamwork are essential.
Main requirements:
  • Advanced experience in data analysis using SQL.
  • Comfortable handling huge datasets.
  • Ability to understand business terminology and act as a liaison between business and IT development team.
  • Independently convert business requirements into high and low-level solution designs.
  • Support in Unit Testing (UT), System Testing (ST), and end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Good communication skills and ability to work within an agile team.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of IT experience and 3-4 years as an analyst.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform data analysis using SQL (knowledge of SAS/Python is an advantage).
  • Handle large datasets effectively.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solution designs.
  • Support testing phases including UT, ST, and UAT.
  • Create functional test cases and validate results (advantage).
  • Act as a bridge between business and IT development teams.
