Second line support role focusing on Microsoft Azure and Windows Server support and troubleshooting for various IT services including cloud, servers, networking, and applications.
Main requirements:
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 including Azure Domain Services
  • Experience in planning and executing system migrations (operating systems, business systems, or other applications)
  • Experience with Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) systems
  • Good understanding of networking
Responsibilities:
  • Installation, deployment, support and troubleshooting of Microsoft Azure, Windows servers, and network solutions
  • Handle escalated 2nd line support cases from 1st line support
  • Support and troubleshoot customer-specific and standard applications like Microsoft 365 and Exchange
  • Collaborate closely with customers on assignments ranging from small to large
  • Administration of Active Directory
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting networks and printers
Required hard skills:
  • Windows Server 2012 and newer administration and deployment
  • Microsoft 365 and Azure Domain Services
  • System migration planning and execution
  • RMM system usage
  • Strong networking knowledge
Recommended hard skills:
  • Virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware
  • Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions
