A software engineer position working with development and improvement of embedded software for marine diesel engines at OXE Marine AB, focusing on motor control, diagnostics, testing, and troubleshooting within a collaborative environment.
Main requirements:
- Post-secondary education in software, electrical engineering, mechatronics or equivalent
- At least 3 years of software development experience in a similar role
- Experience programming in C/C++
- Basic understanding of C#/.NET, REST API and MySQL is beneficial
- Experience with testing and troubleshooting embedded systems
- Basic electrical knowledge and understanding of digital logic (bit manipulation, bit shift, XOR etc.)
- Fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written
Responsibilities:
- Develop embedded software (C/C++) for motor control and system integration
- Develop test cases for automatic verification
- Participate in troubleshooting and problem solving related to software and hardware
- Responsible for verification and release of software
- Contribute to system and software improvement projects
- Provide documentation and technical support within the organization
