A software engineer position working with development and improvement of embedded software for marine diesel engines at OXE Marine AB, focusing on motor control, diagnostics, testing, and troubleshooting within a collaborative environment.
Main requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in software, electrical engineering, mechatronics or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of software development experience in a similar role
  • Experience programming in C/C++
  • Basic understanding of C#/.NET, REST API and MySQL is beneficial
  • Experience with testing and troubleshooting embedded systems
  • Basic electrical knowledge and understanding of digital logic (bit manipulation, bit shift, XOR etc.)
  • Fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written
Responsibilities:
  • Develop embedded software (C/C++) for motor control and system integration
  • Develop test cases for automatic verification
  • Participate in troubleshooting and problem solving related to software and hardware
  • Responsible for verification and release of software
  • Contribute to system and software improvement projects
  • Provide documentation and technical support within the organization
