Combitech in Västerås is looking for a medior systems engineer with a few years of experience working in technical development projects. The role requires analytical thinking, good technical understanding, and an ability to overview and structure complex technical solutions. At Combitech, you work as a consultant on assignments that can be at the customer's site or in teams from our office in Västerås, spanning areas such as software, electronics, mechanics, or complete systems. Main requirements:
- Relevant engineering education.
- Several years of experience as a systems engineer or similar technical role.
- Understanding of technical architecture, requirements, and interfaces.
- Meticulous, communicative, and enjoys working in a structured way.
- Comfortable in technically cross-functional teams and able to see the bigger picture.
Responsibilities:
- Act as an important link between requirements and technical solution.
- Work with requirements management, system design, interfaces, traceability, and documentation, often collaborating with developers and other specialists.
- Work both with detailed aspects and overall system perspectives depending on the project maturity.
Required hard skills:
- Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS, Polarion or Jama (meritorious).
- Knowledge of modeling languages like SysML or UML (meritorious).
- Experience working in projects using the V-model or similar development processes (meritorious).
- Experience from industries with high demands on documentation and traceability such as defense, automotive or medical technology (meritorious).
