As a Cyber Security Specialist at Intertek, you will perform advanced cybersecurity assessments on IoT products, systems, and processes, helping clients comply with international standards and regulatory requirements. You will join a new and dynamic team with opportunities to influence its methods, culture, and future direction in cybersecurity services, as well as develop personally according to your interests within cybersecurity.
Main requirements:
  • Solid experience in cybersecurity assessments for IoT environments
  • Familiarity with local and global cybersecurity standards and testing methodologies
  • Experience with mobile application testing using frameworks like OWASP MASVS/MSTG
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and interface communications (USB, UART, I2C/SPI, RFID/NFC)
  • Professional cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, OSCP, CEH, SANS) are desirable
  • Enthusiastic personality with a “can-do” attitude
  • Interest in leadership roles/activities
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English languages
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct cybersecurity assessments aligned with standards such as EN 18031-series, ETSI EN 303 645, IEC 62443, IEC 81001-5-1, IEEE 11073-10101 series, ISO 80601-2-13:2022, and others
  • Perform testing according to specific protocols including Annex U of IEC EN 60335-1 and clause 8.5 of IEC 60947-4-1:2023
  • Use cybersecurity tools like Kali Linux, Wireshark, nmap, Fuzzing Tools, Nessus, Burp Suite during assessments
  • Analyze communication protocols including Ethernet/IP, TCP/UDP, TLS, HTTP, SSH, WiFi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, Z-Wave
  • Establish test report formats and evaluation processes, support accreditation activities
  • Participate in Intertek's global network of Cyber Security labs to share learning and develop best practices
  • Collaborate with customers and external parties, represent Intertek as a subject matter expert at conferences
  • Lead and guide colleagues in managing their testing and evaluation work
