Seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer specializing in plastic design to join an agile in-house team supporting a leading automotive client. The role involves working on cab development projects from concept to implementation, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring high-quality mechanical designs focused on plastic components and installation, and coordinating with stakeholders and suppliers.
Main requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in plastic design, ideally in cab development
- Proven independent work ability in CATIA, including A-surface modeling
- Strong problem-solving skills with creativity and solution-oriented mindset
- Effective communication skills for managing technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in English
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to an agile in-house delivery team supporting partnership with a leading automotive client
- Participate in cab development project covering concept design and implementation
- Collaborate with project managers, scrum masters, lead engineers, and design engineers
- Ensure high-quality mechanical design focusing on plastic components and overall installation
- Engage and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers to ensure alignment and project success
