We are looking for an experienced project manager for a long-term and technically groundbreaking assignment at Swedavia at Arlanda airport, a project at the heart of the future of autonomous operations. Lead the project advancing autonomous snow removal machines from testing to operational use, shaping the future of safer, smarter, and more cost-effective airport operations.
Main requirements:
  • Experience leading complex technical projects, preferably in infrastructure, automation, or vehicle systems.
  • Ability to understand new technical environments and complex systems quickly.
  • Proven capability to combine strategic thinking with operational execution.
  • Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration ability.
  • Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders and technical dependencies.
  • Ability to lead organizational change to embed autonomous operations.
  • Interest in technology development and leading change.
  • Preferred knowledge of machinery directives, regulatory issues, or contract structures.
Responsibilities:
  • Transition an innovation project into a fully integrated operational concept.
  • Ensure seamless integration of technology, safety, and infrastructure.
  • Drive organizational changes to enable practical autonomy.
  • Lead business case development, contract solutions, and regulatory matters.
  • Establish project plan and resource allocation for full implementation phase.
  • Coordinate and lead an expert project team across technology, operations, and maintenance.
  • Manage deadlines and project details within a complex, critical societal infrastructure project.
