CONSULTING it is looking for a Cloud Operations Engineer for an assignment at a global, creative, and technically advanced retail company in central Stockholm. You will work in a high-performing and changing environment where networking and cloud are central.
Main requirements:
  • At least 3 years experience in IT operations, networking, or cloud infrastructure
  • Strong skills in TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and network security
  • Proficient working in Azure environments
  • Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and GPO
  • Ability to troubleshoot, document, and communicate solutions effectively
  • Comfortable with Azure DevOps and ServiceNow tools
Responsibilities:
  • Operate and troubleshoot Azure Virtual Networks and related network components such as subnets, NSG, UDR, and routing
  • Manage the full TCP/IP stack (layers 1-4) including IP routing, ports, DNS, VPN, and firewall rules
  • Maintain and develop VPN Gateways, Bastion, peering, and hybrid connections in Azure
  • Automate tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and DevOps pipelines
  • Participate in project work and backlog management via Azure DevOps
  • Maintain and configure Windows Server systems both in cloud and on-premises
  • Handle Active Directory, GPO, DNS, and DHCP management
  • Integrate server and network resources
  • Handle incident and case management using ServiceNow
  • Monitor systems with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
  • Document processes and continuously improve operations and networks
Required hard skills:
  • Azure Virtual Network design and troubleshooting
  • TCP/IP networking (layers 1-4), IP routing, DNS, VPN, firewall rules
  • Windows Server administration including Active Directory and GPO
  • Automation with PowerShell and Azure CLI
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and ServiceNow
Recommended hard skills:
  • Understanding and use of OSI model (layers 1-7) for advanced troubleshooting
  • Certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-700, CCNA
  • Experience with hybrid environments and VPN connections
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform or Bicep)
  • Understanding security principles like Zero Trust and network segmentation
