FMV procures, develops, and delivers materials and services to the Swedish Armed Forces. The artillery localization area is a key capability within the Armed Forces. The Project Manager will be the coordinating force leading a competent project group to drive the project forward. The project is currently in an exciting phase and requires a Project Manager who enjoys technical challenges and multiple contact interfaces, both internal and external. The project will continue for several years with varying focuses in different phases. There are strong opportunities for further training in project management and to lead many types of exciting projects in the future.
Main requirements:
  • Relevant degree such as civil engineer, university engineer, system scientist or equivalent education.
  • Project management training or equivalent knowledge.
  • Experience leading projects and project teams.
  • Experience in procuring technical systems and participating in supplier negotiations.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Valid driver's license (Class B).
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate the project team to achieve defined project goals.
  • Manage procurement processes for technical systems.
  • Negotiate with suppliers.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive the project through multiple phases over several years.
  • Ensure technical and project milestones are met.
