Backend Developer and AWS Specialist

We are seeking a senior developer/architect with broad experience in AWS and software solutions, capable of seeing the overall picture. The candidate is expected to have extensive development experience and openness to write, review, and debug code in the role of AWS specialist. As an AWS specialist at Devoteam, you will lead the effort to develop the most suitable solution for the customer. You need the ability to discuss, explain, and motivate your architectural choices. You will also be active in our partner collaboration, exploring new offerings early within your platform and leading cloud innovation development in Creative Tech. AWS certifications are important and meriting but not mandatory.
Main requirements:
  • At least 6 years of software development experience.
  • Several years in a similar role with knowledge of appropriate tools and methods.
  • Experience navigating complex environments and organizations.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and cost-effective designs.
  • Experience designing and building APIs.
  • Experience working with security, such as threat modeling.
  • Customer discussions proficiency in both Swedish and English.
  • Strong desire to deliver excellent service focused on customer needs and success.
  • Genuine understanding of agile methodologies with a focus on delivering value quickly.
  • Good understanding of DevOps principles and ability to integrate them in architectural decisions.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead development of AWS-based solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Discuss, explain, and justify architectural decisions to stakeholders.
  • Engage actively in partner collaborations and explore new platform offerings.
  • Drive cloud innovation within the Creative Tech team.
  • Write, review, and debug code as part of the AWS specialist role.
