Senior Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced project manager for an exciting consulting assignment with a well-known player in the transport and travel industry. The role involves leading business-oriented IT projects focusing on passenger flows, data-driven analysis, and business benefits. You will work in a dynamic environment where digitization, data quality, and customer experience are central. As a project manager, you will be an important link between the business, IT, analysis functions, and external partners. You will play a key role in developing processes, improving customer journeys, and contributing to making the organization more data-driven. The assignment begins with a feasibility study that will result in a decision basis and a plan for continued work.
Main requirements:
  • Relevant academic degree
  • Proven experience as a project manager within IT or business development with demonstrated successful results
  • Understanding of passenger or customer flows, mobility, or logistics
  • Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders and requirements from different business units
  • Experience with data-driven decision making, analysis, and visualization
  • Ability to translate business goals into technical solutions and vice versa
  • Independent and collaborative with strong communication skills
  • Good leadership skills and experience creating a positive work environment
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and experience following internal processes
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Swedish
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate projects at the intersection of business and IT
  • Analyze and visualize passenger flows, identify areas for improvement, and translate insights into concrete business initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Contribute to developing a more data-driven organization
  • Ensure project delivery according to plan focusing on quality, timing, and budget
  • Report to steering committees and other key persons
