A role supporting the further development of IT solutions focusing on OpenShift and Kafka platforms. The position involves working in a team with junior and senior colleagues to strengthen organizational competence, collaborating with ongoing projects and IT operations, and managing parts of monitoring platforms using Prometheus and Grafana. It requires IT architecture expertise in infrastructure or container-based solutions and includes both hands-on and strategic tasks.
Main requirements:
- Higher education in IT of at least 120p/180hp or 5 years relevant IT work experience
- Certified IT architect
- Minimum 5 years experience in Linux environment including installation, configuration and upgrades
- At least 4 years practical experience with container platforms (Kubernetes or OpenShift) in cluster environments covering maintenance and development
- Minimum 4 years practical experience managing Apache Kafka
- At least 5 years experience with automation, configuration, and scripting using tools like Ansible, Bash, PowerShell and YAML
- Minimum 5 years experience managing mission-critical IT infrastructure operations
- Good ability to understand and communicate fluently in both Swedish and English (spoken and written)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain OpenShift and Kafka platforms in close collaboration with IT operations and project staff
- Build and support the team managing platforms and related CI/CD applications
- Handle IT incidents as 2nd and 3rd line support including troubleshooting and coordination
- Contribute to technical architecture development and requirement specifications within team areas
- Plan and execute upgrades and system improvements
- Install, configure, and prepare new environments for emerging needs
- Provide support to internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate and perform testing activities
- Update operational documentation including maintenance instructions and system dependencies
- Participate in IT security tasks such as risk and vulnerability analysis and information security monitoring
- Implement IT changes with internal and external parties and system vendors
- Assist in developing maintenance plans and carry out system upkeep and changes
- Participate in standby group with home-based on-call duty every 4 to 6 weeks
Required hard skills:
