Product Owner

We are seeking a Product Owner to join the Product Management team at Uppsala Monitoring Centre (UMC). This role involves working closely with Product Managers to translate customer needs into product requirements within the drug dictionary product portfolio, collaborating with development teams, and promoting a culture of excellence and customer focus while applying agile methodologies.
Main requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, data science, or life sciences.
  • Extensive experience in developing software-based products and/or SaaS solutions.
  • Familiarity with agile working methods and system engineering concepts, including backlog prioritization and MVP definition.
  • Experience with product planning and feature development.
  • Working knowledge of quality and compliance standards to ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
Responsibilities:
  • Support the Product Manager in turning customer needs into roadmaps and product backlog items.
  • Manage the product backlog according to roadmap, time, budget, and priorities.
  • Serve as main contact for the development team to assist with queries and priorities.
  • Collaborate with Product Specialists and Managers to develop the product.
  • Communicate with users to gather feedback, analyze external input, and build support for new features.
