Network Technology Instructor at Edugrade

Edugrade is seeking a Network Technology Instructor to join their growing team. The role involves teaching and mentoring future IT specialists in various educational formats such as vocational higher education and professional training. The instructor will also contribute to the development of modern network technology curricula. The position is full-time with flexible work including classroom and digital teaching, based in Gothenburg or Malmö, with travel.
Main requirements:
- Relevant post-secondary education in network technology, IT, or similar fields
- At least 1-2 years of experience working with network solutions (LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, etc.)
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and pedagogically
- Experience with both physical and virtual network environments
- Strongly advantageous to have certifications like CCNA, CCNP or similar
- Previous experience as an instructor or mentor in IT is advantageous
Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop and conduct training in network technology
- Teach topics including routing, switching, security and network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP)
- Guide and mentor students through theoretical and practical components
- Stay updated on latest developments in network technology and integrate them into course content
- Contribute to development of curricula and course material in collaboration with colleagues
- Conduct workshops, lab exercises, and lectures both onsite and digitally
- Contribute to Edugrade's overall development
- Participate in application work for new network technology training programs
Required hard skills:
- Network solutions experience (LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, etc.)
- Knowledge of routing, switching, network security, network protocols such as TCP/IP
Recommended hard skills:
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP or similar
- Experience in teaching or mentoring IT students
