Lead and coordinate Eskilstuna municipality's cybersecurity work to ensure strong information and IT security, enabling sustainable digitalization that simplifies everyday life.
Main requirements:
  • Experience in information security, IT security, digitalization, and information governance
  • Relevant higher education
  • Several years of leadership experience in a larger organization, preferably public sector
  • Ability to coordinate and coach in a non-formal leadership capacity
  • Strategic and driven mindset, capable of translating ideas into practical work
  • Understanding of technical systems as well as holistic perspectives
  • Structured, orderly, collaborative, and persistent in change management
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex issues clearly
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate cybersecurity efforts for the entire municipal group
  • Develop, follow up, and support work in information security and IT security
  • Maintain oversight of all strategic and tactical cybersecurity work
  • Support municipal departments and companies in their security efforts
  • Sponsor development projects when applicable
  • Commission services from the municipality's Service Department and external consultants
  • Focus on administrative, technical, and cultural aspects of information security
  • Collaborate with IT management and security coordinators to ensure IT security work
  • Set goals, monitor improvements, and promote cybersecurity knowledge across the municipality
  • Respect democratic processes and the municipality's role in fulfilling political objectives
  • Work closely with relevant directors, IT management, and operational support functions
  • Support managers and key personnel in meeting security requirements
