Kvdbil, Sweden's largest marketplace for used cars, is seeking a Lead Developer with responsibility for Backend to join our team in Gothenburg. Kvdbil sells around 26,000 cars annually and works daily towards a fairer car industry with honesty and transparency, striving to provide excellent service and simplify our customers' car business.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead backend platform development in line with company business and IT strategies together with architects and IT management
  • Technical delivery responsibility ensuring quality in deliveries, design, coding, and implementation
  • Maintain performance, maintainability and scalability at sufficiently high levels
  • Select technology and development solutions ensuring software, infrastructure suitability, modernization and upgrades
  • Proactively initiate and drive platform sustainability, maintainability, cost-effectiveness and security initiatives
  • Ensure market surveillance to adopt new technologies and knowledge
  • Contribute expertise to development teams and provide technical support to other developers
  • Provide technical support to business and operational development within the organization
  • Develop and maintain Kvdbil's IT platform collaboratively with team members
