Java Developer / Software Developer

Cyber Instincts AB is seeking a Java Developer to work on client projects as a Software Developer responsible for developing applications and services. The role includes coding, peer review, unit testing, fixing defects, and participating in Scrum ceremonies.
Main requirements:
  • 5 or more years of experience as a developer
  • Proficient in Java and/or JavaScript programming/scripting languages
  • Experience with Java development frameworks/platforms such as Spring Boot, Java EE, J2EE
  • Experience with continuous integration/deployment tools like Git, Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps culture
  • Passion for software development with clean, high-quality code following industry standards and best practices
  • Diploma or university degree preferably in IT/Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business/Management, or related fields; other relevant disciplines considered if combined with suitable skills/experience
Responsibilities:
  • Develop code for software applications according to customer requirements
  • Peer review other developers' code
  • Perform unit testing to identify structural defects
  • Fix defects, bugs, and software issues
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint demos, and retrospectives
