Solution Architect in BI

As a Solution Architect in BI at the Swedish Police Authority, you will be responsible for administering, maintaining, strategically planning, and developing the Police's BI platform. This role includes coaching colleagues, driving work within decision-support tools, enhancing the organization's ability to analyze data for operational monitoring, monitoring developments in data analysis, and collaborating with decision-makers in analysis, data, and information.
Main requirements:
- Post-secondary education in IT or equivalent relevant work experience
- Recent work experience in analysis, data, and information areas
- Several years of recent experience managing large Qlik platforms on-premise in Windows environments
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Responsibilities:
- Administer, maintain, strategically plan and develop the Police's BI platform
- Guide and coach colleagues to build competence in the area
- Drive work within Police's decision-support tools
- Contribute to enhancing data-driven business monitoring and analysis
- Monitor developments in data analysis field
- Collaborate with decision-makers within analysis, data, and information areas
Required hard skills:
- Experience with setting up and managing large Qlik platforms on-premise in Windows environments
- Excellent Swedish and English language skills spoken and written
Recommended hard skills:
- Experience migrating large complex Qlik platforms
- Experience with custom developed extensions
- Experience with NPrinting
- Good modeling skills
- Good understanding and experience with data retrieval and integration with various systems/databases
- Good knowledge of the development process and its stages
- Experience with change management and complex deliveries
