As an IT Support Technician Operation at Fagerhult, the role involves responsibility and authority together with production to manage and develop production-related IT systems. You collaborate with suppliers to set development plans, manage systems, and support system owners in their daily tasks. You participate in projects and management meetings with production and gain deep understanding of the business from inside to the customer. You work daily with IT Support, engaging in hardware setup, troubleshooting production-related systems, and ongoing communication with suppliers. Responsibilities also include inventorying current versions of applications you own, ensuring correct licensing, maintaining good documentation, and a high level of security and functionality. You will be involved in IT Support one day per workweek, with flexibility to cover staff during high workload in consultation with your immediate manager. Main requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in IT
  • Good experience with Microsoft applications
  • Experience with IT hardware installations
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing industry (merit)
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both oral and written
  • Experience participating in projects
  • Experience with automation processes/flows
Responsibilities:
  • Staff the IT Support Operations function (IT Production)
  • Act as project member within specialist areas
  • Register incoming error reports and orders in the case management system
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incoming error reports and orders remotely or on-site
  • Participate in production project meetings
  • Communicate with users and suppliers about error reports and orders
  • Actively manage PC applications
  • Install PCs and client-related peripherals for production
