IT Support Technician at a Government Agency in Norrköping

We are seeking two IT Support Technicians with drive and good problem-solving abilities for a government agency in Norrköping. The IT support section is responsible for delivering first-class service by receiving, handling, and following up on IT-related issues. The section also develops the IT self-service portal and its FAQ.
Main requirements:
- High school diploma in IT or equivalent
- At least 24 months documented professional experience in the field within the last five years
- Minimum 12 months experience of IT support within a government agency in the last five years
- Good knowledge of computers, peripherals, operating systems, networks, communication, and information security
- Basic knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
- Experience working with an issue management system, such as EasitGO
- Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written
- Swedish citizenship due to security clearance requirements
- Willingness to undergo security background check
Responsibilities:
- Receive, handle, and resolve IT-related issues
- Communicate with users via phone, email, and issue management systems
- Install hardware and software
- Define documentation requirements to facilitate issue handling
- Follow up on issues
- Collaborate closely with other IT sections and units
- Act as backup for first line support when needed
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems
- Administer IT environments including user accounts, permissions, and print queues
Required hard skills:
- Issue management systems (e.g., EasitGO)
- Basic MS Office or equivalent
- Knowledge of computers, peripherals, operating systems, networks, communication, information security
- Hardware and software installation
- IT administration (user accounts, permissions, print queues)
Recommended hard skills:
- Experience with Easit issue management system
- Use of Doc IT for operational documentation
- Experience with telephone system ACE
