Join Skatteverket to shape the future IT security for Skatteverket and its client agencies. We seek a professional with broad technical expertise to perform, develop, and manage IT security functions and conduct analyses of security threats and cyberattacks.
Main requirements:
  • Communicate effectively in various forums and audiences, expressing well in spoken and written Swedish.
  • Analyze information flows, recognize patterns and correlations, and make boundaries.
  • Possess good collaboration skills, helpfulness, and a positive attitude.
  • Structured work approach with good delivery capability.
  • Independently plan and drive own work to achieve results.
  • Have pedagogical skills with good understanding of human learning processes.
  • Several years of current and relevant work experience in IT security development.
  • Current and relevant experience with network and IT forensic tools such as SIEM, EDR, or NDR.
  • Current and relevant experience with Active Directory.
  • Current and relevant experience with either Linux or Windows.
Responsibilities:
  • Build IT security within Skatteverket's infrastructure and applications.
  • Support detection and response capabilities by identifying, analyzing, and developing materials and solutions to minimize risks.
  • Analyze and anticipate future risks in light of changing external conditions and new technologies like AI.
  • Present analyses to management, technicians, and developers.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to understand future needs and platform usage.
  • Contribute to sustainable and future-proof IT security solutions aligned with societal benefit.
Required hard skills:
  • Experience with network and IT forensic tools (e.g., SIEM, EDR, NDR).
  • Experience with Active Directory.
  • Experience with either Linux or Windows environments.
Recommended hard skills:
  • Programming skills in Python, Java, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Experience with RedHat.
  • Experience with Cisco network equipment.
  • Experience with VMware virtualization.
  • Experience in IT forensics, IT security investigations, SOC, or incident handling.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365.
