Main requirements:
- Experience managing Windows server environments and VDI platforms
- Several years of Linux experience focused on server operation
- Solid experience with Redhat and CentOS
- Experience setting up new development environments with these technologies
- Genuine interest in technology and keeping up-to-date with industry developments
- Swedish citizenship (required due to defense confidentiality)
- Willingness to work on-site five days a week
- Pass security screening and background check
Responsibilities:
- Handle IT infrastructure maintenance and development for a business area
- Ensure availability, security, and stability of systems and services
- Deliver client- and server-based services
- Participate in operations and support teams
- Manage patching and upgrading of client and server environments
- Develop scripts and use automation tools to optimize workflows
- Contribute to development of infrastructure-related services
- Ensure compliance with security requirements
- Engage actively in technical solution improvements
- Document and perform work according to established routines and processes
Required hard skills:
- Windows Server management
- VDI platform management
- Linux server administration (Redhat and CentOS)
Recommended hard skills:
- Scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl
- IT and information security knowledge
- Network layers including TCP/IP, switching, routing, and firewall in data center environments
- Monitoring tools like Nagios/op5
- Technologies such as Docker/Podman, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, PostgreSQL, Grafana, VMware
