Embedded Software Engineer

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join our team at Knightec AB, part of Knightec Group. You will work in a dynamic environment developing embedded solutions from connected sensors to smart algorithms and control systems. The role involves collaboration across disciplines to create innovative products primarily within MedTech, Automotive, or defense sectors. Fluency in Swedish is required.
Main requirements:
  • Experience in embedded development using C, C++ or Python
  • Experience with entire product development cycle from idea to implementation
  • Strong background in embedded or software engineering
  • Interest in sectors such as MedTech, Automotive or defense
  • Positive team player and creative problem solver
  • Fluent in Swedish (spoken and written)
Responsibilities:
  • Leverage technical expertise to optimize customers' embedded solutions
  • Lead and contribute to development projects from existing product enhancement to new product creation
  • Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to solve real-world challenges
  • Translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Stay updated on new technologies and methods to drive innovation and improvements
Required hard skills:
  • Embedded development in C, C++ or Python
  • Experience with product development lifecycle
  • Strong embedded or software engineering skills
