We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer to join our growing development team at Updal Solutions AB in Upplands Väsby. The role involves developing, designing, and integrating backend technologies in customer projects with a global footprint. The ideal candidate will have strong backend software design knowledge, database system setup skills, and experience maintaining and improving backend infrastructure and monitoring solutions.
Main requirements:
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or similar
  • At least 3 years of experience in backend systems
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous development including unit testing
  • Knowledge of all components of an IoT backend including load balancer, MQTT broker, database
  • Experience maintaining and improving backend infrastructure and monitoring solutions
Responsibilities:
  • Manage CI/CD deployment processes including pipeline development, release management, automation, and testing
  • Maintain and improve existing infrastructure solutions
  • Deploy and maintain monitoring solutions using Grafana and Prometheus
  • Enhance database reliability and scalability
  • Contribute to backend system improvements
