System Developer with focus on DevOps

We are looking for a system developer with a DevOps focus to join the Platform team at the Swedish Agency for Digital Government (Digg). The role involves developing applications and establishing the technical platform needed for efficient delivery of digital services supporting various public sector actors, private sector, and citizens. The team works with a Kubernetes environment (Red Hat Openshift 4), microservices in Java and Quarkus, and frontend development with Vue and Typescript. The position requires experience in system development, DevOps, and system administration, with strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.
Main requirements:
- At least 2 years experience configuring applications for deployment in Kubernetes/Openshift
- At least 2 years experience working in agile teams and with GitOps
- At least 3 years experience in Linux development and operations environments
- At least 3 years experience with Docker/Podman and git version control or equivalent
- Good spoken and written knowledge of Swedish and English
Responsibilities:
- Configure deployments of applications and functions like logging and monitoring
- Develop microservices and support overall digital infrastructure
- Collaborate within the platform and DevOps teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and operational environments
Required hard skills:
- Kubernetes/Openshift application deployment configuration
- GitOps methodology and tooling

- Docker/Podman containerization
- Version control with git
