Information Security Officer

The Information Security Officer is responsible for managing and administering tasks within the authority's information security team, contributing to the development of the organization's information security efforts. This role involves practical information security work such as participating in risk and vulnerability analyses, information classification, preparing and documenting meetings, providing training and advisory support to improve security culture, and collaborating closely with various professionals within the authority.
Main requirements:
- Post-secondary education deemed relevant by the employer
- Current experience from public administration
- Experience in administrative work
- Good and current IT and computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office suite
- Strong proficiency in Swedish, both oral and written
Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage assignments within the information security team
- Participate in risk and vulnerability assessments
- Perform information classifications
- Prepare, lead, and document meetings related to information security
- Respond to ongoing inquiries about information security
- Support and enhance the security culture through education, advice, and support
- Collaborate with information security coordinators, lawyers, archivists, IT specialists, security coordinators, and data protection officers
