Position for an IT helpdesk consultant to work in the public sector with focus on IT support, problem solving, system administration, and user assistance with meaningful responsibilities and professional development.
Main requirements:
- High school education or equivalent plus at least 3 years of work experience in similar role, OR relevant IT education (e.g. university engineer, vocational higher education) plus at least 2 years of work experience in similar role
- Good knowledge of computers, peripherals, operating systems, networks, communication, and information security
- Basic knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
- Good knowledge of ticketing systems (e.g. Easit GO or ServiceNow)
- Good knowledge of Mobile Device Management (MDM)
- Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, spoken and written
Responsibilities:
- Ensure IT equipment is functioning properly
- Provide service support to users via phone, email, and chat concerning hardware and software
- Administer IT environments such as user accounts, permissions, and print queues
- Instruct users on how to work with different programs
