As an E-commerce Technical Developer at Online Brands, you work closely with marketing, UX, and platform providers to improve site functionality and conversion. You write code for A/B tests, handle technical integrations, and solve issues affecting user experience. This role combines practical development work with direct contribution to business results.
Main requirements:
- 2+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with A/B testing tools like Optimizely, VWO, or similar
- Basic understanding of tracking, data collection, and analytics
- Experience working in or closely with e-commerce platforms and external tech partners
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues
- Structured working method and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Responsibilities:
- Write, test, and adjust code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for A/B tests and site improvements
- Implement and manage test environments in tools like Optimizely, VWO, AB Tasty, etc.
- Act as technical liaison with e-commerce platforms and external suppliers
- Implement and troubleshoot tracking and script connections for conversion analysis
- Participate in technical integrations with external systems such as PIM, payment solutions, and CRM
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical obstacles affecting conversion, UX, or performance
- Support marketing and UX teams with technical understanding and solutions for new features and improvements
- Maintain structured documentation of tests, implementations, and technical solutions
