Join Saab AB as a Network Engineer, working on exciting projects that focus on increasing digitalization, investing in new technology including automation and Cloud, and fostering an inclusive performance-driven culture. You will be responsible for operating, developing, and upgrading network systems to meet recommended security and functional requirements, working in a collaborative team setting. This full-time role is based in Malmö and may involve evening work and travel between Saab offices.
Main requirements:
- Broad knowledge and strong interest in deepening network expertise
- Experience or strong eagerness to develop skills in network security functions
- Ability to work both independently and in teams with varying project scopes
- Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Valid B driver's license for travel between Saab offices
Responsibilities:
- Operate, develop, and upgrade network systems ensuring compliance with security and functional requirements
- Work in a team to build and maintain Saab's network infrastructure
- Act as technical advisor in projects and potentially as project leader
- Continuously update knowledge on latest network developments and business intelligence
- Perform planned service activities which may require evening work
Required hard skills:
- Network design, network security, and network operation
- Certifications and/or experience with Cisco, HPE Aruba, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Citrix, and F5
- Scripting and automation skills
- Ability to deliver network IT solutions to internal or external customers
- Translate security requirements such as NIST and CMMC into technical solutions
- Relevant higher education or several years of similar professional experience
Recommended hard skills:
- Experience with ITIL and ISO 27001
- Documented experience with NSX, Ansible, and CyberArk
- Familiarity with project management processes and frameworks
