We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to work with cutting-edge technology at our client's office in Gothenburg. The client is a leading product company in the defense industry, active in many technical areas ensuring safety and security in society. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop innovative DevSecOps and Developer Experience solutions, including a system for managing metadata and a 'Follow Your Commit' functionality. You will collaborate with your team to create solutions that improve developers' workflows and automate processes. You will design and build backend systems in Go and MongoDB to handle metadata and track code changes, as well as develop frontend interfaces in React and TypeScript to make the systems more user-friendly. These solutions will be integrated into existing workflows, ensuring they are performant, scalable, and maintainable. You will also optimize their CI/CD pipeline and contribute to further developing the company's DevSecOps ecosystem. The role involves close collaboration with development teams and colleagues within DevSecOps to create a smooth, efficient, and secure development environment. This is a dynamic and challenging environment where you can make a real difference.
Main requirements:
- Strong background in backend development, databases, and/or frontend development.
- Experience with technologies such as Go, MongoDB, React, TypeScript, Python, Java, and Linux.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD and tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, and Git/Bitbucket.
- Willingness to undergo and pass the required security clearance, requiring Swedish citizenship.
Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative DevSecOps and Developer Experience solutions including metadata management systems and commit tracking features.
- Design and build backend systems in Go and MongoDB to handle metadata and code change tracking.
- Develop frontend user interfaces in React and TypeScript to improve usability.
- Integrate solutions into existing workflows ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate closely with development teams and DevSecOps colleagues to create a smooth, efficient, and secure development environment.
