Work as a key link in an important societal function by supporting Region Halland in GDPR compliance, making complex legal texts understandable, and contributing to data protection efforts across regional departments.
Main requirements:
  • University degree; Bachelor's in relevant field or equivalent education plus relevant work experience
  • Good knowledge of relevant legislation
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to communicate well in both spoken and written Swedish and English
Responsibilities:
  • Support the various departments within the Region regarding data protection regulations
  • Inform, offer, conduct training sessions, and follow up on educational efforts
  • Manage and investigate personal data incidents
  • Register and review personal data processing activities
  • Prepare data processing agreements
  • Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA)
  • Handle cases regarding the rights of data subjects
  • Monitor the external environment and network
Required hard skills:
  • Knowledge of GDPR and relevant data protection legislation
  • Ability to interpret and convey complex legal texts in an understandable way
  • Experience in handling personal data incidents and DPIAs
