As a Senior Software Engineer, you will focus on backend development using Java and Kotlin within an international team, contributing across the software delivery lifecycle in a hybrid work environment based in Stockholm, Sweden.
Main requirements:
  • Extensive development skills using Java and Kotlin
  • Strong problem-solving mentality
  • Knowledge of the Ktor framework
  • Knowledge of at least one test framework such as JUnit
  • Good knowledge of network infrastructure related to web applications (load balancer, firewall, security groups, CDN etc.)
  • Experience with service provisioning on at least one cloud platform (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure)
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform)
  • Experience with containerization (Docker)
  • Experience working with Agile development methodologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • At least 6-8 years documented experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Fluent in English
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and document new product features and user stories
  • Conduct code reviews for peers
  • Maintain and improve legacy code
  • Manage DevOps and cloud infrastructure provisioning
  • Manage software deployment
  • Troubleshoot incidents and fix bugs
