Embark Studios is seeking a Product Manager to join the development team of THE FINALS, their innovative online shooter game. The role focuses on setting development and publishing priorities to improve business KPIs using quantitative data in close collaboration with data analysts and scientists. The ideal candidate has deep insight into free-to-play games, balancing player, developer, and business needs, and strong analytical skills to interpret quantitative data effectively.
Main requirements:
  • 4+ years experience in live service titles, preferably free-to-play, with focus on engagement and monetization content.
  • Proven ability to collaborate closely with data analysts/scientists and user research experts.
  • Strong quantitative analysis skills supporting data-informed decision making.
  • Familiarity with PvP shooters and competitive gaming landscapes.
  • Ability to interpret and present imperfect or incomplete data.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex ideas and motivate teams.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated with a pragmatic mindset.
  • Understanding of player psychology and motivations influencing game feature experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead generation and refinement of live service features targeting business KPIs with clear measurable goals.
  • Analyze player journey and game systems to identify opportunities to improve retention, engagement, and monetization while benefiting player experience.
  • Perform data analysis to develop hypotheses on player behavior guiding product and publishing priorities.
  • Optimize content roadmap and monetization strategies.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including development, live operations, data, and senior management to ensure comprehensive product management.
  • Act as a key customer for the data team, helping to define priorities and backlog for valuable data insights.
