Main requirements:
  • PhD degree (or equivalent) in chemistry, biochemistry, or related field obtained by the time of employment decision
  • Strong motivation and documented experience in organic chemistry
  • Practical experience with NMR spectroscopy
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Interest in interdisciplinary research and excellent collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
  • Synthesize samples for NMR analysis
  • Conduct NMR experiments for organochemical characterization with a focus on quantification of isotopomers
  • Interpret isotopomer distributions to understand changes in plant carbon metabolism
  • Prepare results for conference presentations and scientific publications
  • Collaborate closely with other postdoctoral researchers on related plant ecophysiology experiments
Required hard skills:
