Seeking a Measurement Equipment Engineer with experience in measurement equipment and calibration to support project management and production in an advanced aerospace and defense industry company. The role focuses on managing measurement equipment, calibration, measurement uncertainty, and ensuring compliance with technical standards in a highly competent team.
Main requirements:
  • Engineering degree, preferably in mechanical engineering, production or similar
  • Experience with measurement equipment, calibration, and measurement tolerances
  • Knowledge of measurement uncertainty and application of measurement standards
  • Ability to take initiative, drive issues forward and communicate clearly with various professional roles
  • Experience working in structured, technically intense environments
Responsibilities:
  • Act as a key link between project management, production and technical functions
  • Work with measurement equipment, calibration and measurement uncertainty issues
  • Ensure correct equipment use and reliable measurement results according to standards
  • Conduct and analyze calibrations of measurement equipment
  • Lead technical investigations and troubleshooting with technicians and specialists
  • Support procurement when acquiring new measurement equipment
  • Participate in internal audits to ensure compliance with measurement standards
  • Collaborate closely with process leaders to provide technical support on measurement uncertainty, tolerances, and equipment selection
  • Support operators and technicians in daily use and technical understanding of measurement equipment
