The Operation Engineer role focuses on the development and delivery of IT services with an emphasis on secure and stable operations of data storage and backup infrastructure. The position involves daily operations, monitoring, alarm handling, lifecycle management, 3rd line support, and participation in technical projects both locally and internationally at Vattenfall AB in Forsmark.

Responsibilities:
  • Daily operations of data storage and backup systems
  • Streamline and automate workflows and systems
  • Monitoring and alarm management of infrastructure platforms
  • Patch management and system updates
  • 3rd line troubleshooting for infrastructure-related issues
  • Participate in projects for new technical solutions
  • Lifecycle management and IT infrastructure planning
