IT Technician – Linux & Infrastructure

We are looking for a senior infrastructure technician with strong expertise in Linux server operations and an eye for stable, secure, and future-proof IT solutions. The role is within a dynamic environment supporting both Linux and Windows servers, leading technology choices, improvement initiatives, and implementations.
Main requirements:
  • Extensive experience in Linux server operations (e.g., RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) in a production environment.
  • Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy Objects (GPO).
  • Knowledge in virtualization technologies (VMware, Nutanix) and networking.
  • Experience in scripting for automation (e.g., Bash, PowerShell).
  • Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent work experience.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate, maintain, and optimize Linux servers as well as manage some Windows Server tasks.
  • Administer virtual environments using VMware and Nutanix including lifecycle management.
  • Develop automation and scripting solutions, for example in Bash or PowerShell.
  • Enhance IT security measures including firewall management and permission assignment.
  • Troubleshoot and support network operations (LAN/WLAN), primarily in Cisco environments.
  • Handle incident management and provide technical support to local support functions (2nd line).
  • Participate in and lead infrastructure projects related to new systems and modernization.
