Backend Developer BI at Peab

We are looking for a technically skilled backend developer with a passion for data management and advanced BI solutions to join Peab and help shape the future of data-driven community development.
Main requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in data warehouse development and BI.
  • Proficient in SQL, Python, and ETL tools like Matillion or Data Factory.
  • Experience with cloud services such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Understanding of data modeling methodologies like Kimball and Inmon.
  • Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement ETL processes to handle data from various sources including SQL databases, APIs, and Azure Blob.
  • Manage databases including creation, maintenance, and administration of users and roles.
  • Ensure data quality by implementing validation and monitoring processes.
  • Implement security measures such as role-based access control and compliance with regulations including GDPR.
  • Optimize data warehouses for performance and scalability to manage large datasets.
  • Prepare data for visualization tools such as Power BI and create solutions supporting advanced analytics.
  • Document code, data models, and technical processes for long-term use and maintenance.
