Frontend Developer (With Backend Experience)

AVTECH Sweden AB is seeking a Frontend Developer with backend experience for a 4-month contract, with possible extension based on performance and needs. The role involves developing a new aircraft management and operations web application, working with a multinational team in a hybrid work environment.
Main requirements:
  • 3+ years of frontend development experience
  • Strong JavaScript, HTML/CSS, AJAX skills
  • Experience with Python and Django for static and dynamic pages
  • Knowledge of deployment using Gunicorn and Nginx
  • Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git version control
  • Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively remotely
  • Proficient English speaking and writing skills
Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain responsive, user-friendly interfaces using JavaScript, CSS, and modern frontend frameworks
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, engineers, and backend developers for integrated user experiences
  • Contribute to and maintain backend components built with Python and Django
  • Optimize performance and deploy using Gunicorn, Nginx, and AWS
  • Work with MongoDB and PostgreSQL to support application functionality
  • Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications in cloud-based AWS environment
  • Write clean, maintainable, documented code and perform code reviews
